Let Go and Learn
The other day I was reminded of something that I used to do that was holding back my progress. It was the assumption that I already knew everything that I needed to know to stay fit and healthy.
This is the worst mentality you can develop within yourself as it completely collapses all of your learning potential.
It’s not until you see this behaviour in other people that you become aware of how degrading it is to your mind. It’s so easy to become locked into one belief, one absolute truth that “this was is the only way”.
What I know now is that you don’t really know anything until you try it out, and until you have tested and measured your results. When you see the end result, that’s when you know if something works or not.
The smartest trainers are always learning and always searching for information.
